Cosmo Sarson has earned a reputation for his street art, large-scale murals and public art commissions.

In 2012, he painted a 30’ high mural of Jesus breakdancing on the side of a building in Bristol. Situated directly opposite one of Banksy’s few surviving artworks, it captured the public imagination and made news headlines around the world.

A similar oil painting depicting Jesus breakdancing in the vatican went viral after its image was shared online, crashing his website. It has now become a popular meme.

He has exhibited at the Saatchi gallery, Scope Art Miami and held his last solo show at Pure Evil gallery.

Sarson’s technical ability and versatility have proved useful to the film industry. With over 40 film credits to his name, his skills as a scenic artist are often called for.

Freelance film work and public art commissions allow Cosmo to maintain his studio practice, where his efforts are concentrated on oil paintings, drawings and print releases.
